NVR stands for Network Video Recorder, a device that receives video files from IP cameras over the network for centralized viewing, management, and remote functions. Built on an IP-based architecture, the NVR is simple to install and easy to use, offering great flexibility when building a surveillance system. It helps users achieve 24-hour continuous recording and monitoring at home, in the office, and other locations.<\/p><ul><li>One network connects to the cameras, and the other connects to the external network (the Internet)<\/li><\/ul><p>The benefit of this setup is that it isolates the external connection from the camera network \u2014 meaning external connections cannot directly reach the cameras \u2014 making the system relatively<br \/>\u200b            secure.<\/p><ul><li>\u200bIt can also serve as load balancing: once the number of cameras reaches a certain scale, both networks can be set to connect to the cameras.
