Pro-Link Mobile Card-Reading Access Control Management Solution
Pro-Link Mobile Card-Reading Access Control App Solution
Access control no longer has to mean fixed-point management. Pro-Link's mobile card-reading access control app lets you manage access control with just a smartphone.
This solution is ideal for situations requiring mobile, on-the-go access control management. Paired with CHIYU's access control system, Pro-Link lets you carry out flexible, real-time access control wherever you need it.
Even when offline with no network connection, personnel cards can still be scanned and identified, with the card data stored locally and later uploaded to the remote host via a charging/transfer dock to update the entry/exit log.

Problems with Fixed-Point Access Control
Fixed access control is the most common management method, using methods such as card, face, fingerprint, or PIN for identification, allowing automated access control, but it also comes with several drawbacksLow Flexibility: adding more access points or new features requires re-planning additional controllers or related access control equipment and rewiring, which is time-consuming, labor-intensive, and costlyLow Mobility: for temporary access control needs at a given location (such as a construction site or short-term event), it's difficult to achieve, since personnel must identify themselves at a fixed point using card, face, fingerprint, or PIN. When a network outage, power failure, or equipment malfunction occurs, the fixed identification system is rendered completely inoperable. It also requires a stable power supply, needing additional wiring and power lines, which is time-consuming, labor-intensive, and costly
Advantages of a Mobile Card Reader Access Control Solution
To address the issues of fixed-point access control above, Pro-Link developed a mobile card-reading access control management app solution, with the following advantages and use casesHigh Flexibility, Strong MobilitySuitable for facility patrols, mobile personnel checks, vehicle entry/exit management, campus roll call, event check-in, and other temporary, non-fixed-point reading scenarios. When fixed access control equipment (doors, gates, vehicle recognition, etc.) malfunctions or loses power, mobile card-reading access control serves as the best backup plan. Capacity can be expanded anytime simply by adding a memory card, with no need for additional controllers or equipment. The mobile card reader charges conveniently with just a power bank, supports Android phones, supports Mifare cards, supports EasyCard, and can still read cards while offline
